Rahul Koya, DO 

Dr. Rahul Koya is a board-certified physical medicine & rehabilitation physician specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal pain conditions. He is dedicated to improving the quality of life of his patients, helping them live more fulfilling, 
happier lives.

 

With extensive knowledge in musculo­skeletal rehabilitation and clinical expertise, Dr. Koya provides high-quality care. Dr. Koya completed his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he served as Chief Resident during his PGY-4 year and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He also completed an Internal Medicine Preliminary Internship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai I NYC Health + Hospitals in Queens, Jamaica, NY.

 

He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. Dr. Koya is experienced in treating chronic neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, and musculoskeletal and nerve injuries. He performs procedures such as ultrasound-guided joint/bursa injections, tendon sheath injections, and trigger point injections, ensuring maximum pain relief and minimal discomfort. A native of New York, Dr. Koya has worked across all five boroughs & Long Island. He is passionate about serving the culturally diverse Richmond Hill community.
